I know someone has posted before on crossfire setups running slow. Mine is an amd though so figured I would ask. My setup is an fx 53 one gig of corsair 2-2-2-5 ram newest creative card and crossfire cards. 550 enermax PW also. I am getting 6+ on 3dmark 06 and 11+ on 05. Seems low to me I do have them in the right spot the blue spot for the crossfire and the black spot for non. I have it enabled in settings in bios and cats also.

Try testing some games out or even game based benchmarks like the X3 one.

There is something wrong for sure. I had r480 in bios turned on to fast and got 11000 in 05. I then turned it to normal because it was getting to hot. It then got 9000+ I got 10+ on the one card alone before.

Just realized my cpu is set at 1.6 not 2.4ghz. Not sure how that happend anyone have any ideas. If I try to up it it acts like an overclock and will not go above 1.8

System specs would be helpful.
What video cards do you have in crossfire?

Check for motherboard bios update.

x1900 in crossfire
I think the issue is bio related and I do not have the most updated one for the mvp board. It keeps saying when I want to install the asus updater app no asus motherboard detected is there something I need to instal first so it sees the board

Btw the cpu issue is listed in the update to the motherboard. Just need to figure out how to get updater to see the board

I think it is a driver problem.

I also get low performance with my Intel Pentium D 955XE and X1900 Crossfire setup. Alot of guys at Rage3D also have similar problems.

May be CAT 6.2 will solve the problems.

Also do you have a program called "ATI Tools Beta 12"?

Try and see how much amp is your GPu drawing from the power supply.

I agree I think it is sofware based. I noticed my scores kept going down. I took it once and it was 11k then 9k and the last one was 7k. So I pulled out the slave card and ran 3dmark 05 and got 10k alone on it. I'll get that tool and report back.

I believe you said that you have ASUS card with R480 chipset . If that has easy flash use that its very easy to use and you won't have to wait for auto updater to run new bios.

I know I will get flamed for this but did you reformate your HD when you installed your new card . M/B not detected is a pretty serious thing to me .

I am assuming you had a Asus board before you bought this one. That has to be your first fix you have to get the CPU running correctly first .

Than you have to relieze that ATI'S drivers are not OFFICAL they will have offical drivers out this week.

Don't use the ATI tool yet its as much beta as the drivers you have now for the 1900's
Relax wait a little bit ATI release their drivers than find out were your at.

Now if you want to try something that I know does indeed work.I am again assuming that you have net 1.1 installed and updated. If so now download net 2.0 leave net 1.1 alone just install net 2.0. You should see a big improvement.

I have to say this but i usually avoid this issue. when you have the $$$ to buy the parts that you have.

When building a system I always without exception you the best PS i can buy. I use ACpower and cooling only(my preferance) That being said I think your PS is a little weak for the system you have. You have to relieze you have the best of the best and its a power hungry bea :) st at best.

Have you tried running your setup in games? Or did you just get taht setup for 3dmark?
WOuld be cool to see how it performs in games.
