Crossfire not working?

I just put in the newest drivers from ATI on my crossfired 3870 setup and now Catalyst control center is telling me I have my crossfireX cables installed incorrectly and can't enable crossfire on the cards.

I've had both cables installed since I got the video cards with no issues...both ribbon cables are installed on each port and I even flipped them around thinking that could be the problem..

Anyone else run into this ?
