just bought another HD 7770 for my second system and im getting this message when i try to enable CrossfireX

The AMD CrossFireX internal bridge interconnects linking your graphics cards together are not properly attached. Both bridge interconnects must be attached. For more information, see the user's guide for your graphics card.

specs
Maximus II Formula
Sapphire 7770 + Sapphire 7770 OC

i had 2 bridges laying around and i've tried both. completely stumped now.

TL,DR: Crossfire not working. bridge attached but Catalyst says it isnt.

[SOLVED 7/20] i looked at the CF bridges and it was marked with a date from 2006. i replaced it with a bridge from my main rig and everything worked. i think the bridge was from my very first rig and maybe ATI/AMD changed the pins or something.
