Crossfire between different 7950 (regular vs boost)

How will crossfire work between two different 7950 cards, one without boosting (MSI Twin Frozr) and the other with boosting (Sapphire)?

Will they lock step at a common frequency? 880?
Or will there be stuttering?

They will clock down to the slowest card and not use the boost feature if both cards do not support it.
