Right now I have an X1800XT 512 and I'm looking at picking up a couple of X1950 Pro's from ZZF, but I'm wondering if I should wait for the 512MB versions to come out. When the cards are running in CrossFire mode will they each have to store all the textures in their memory, or will the load be split, in effect letting the two 256MB memory banks act as one 512?

Load is not combined, each stores their data in their own framebuffer, so two 256 MB video cards still have 256 MB total framebuffer storage in CrossFire.
