Does any one know of any software free or otherwise that will allow a person on one PC in the local network to use the optical drive of a different computer in the same network?

I want the PC without the burner to be able to burn a disk that is previously inserted into the PC. I tried just sharing the burner, but of course it just looks like a shared drive, meaning that the PC im working on doesn't recognize the share as an optical drive.

I guess simple remote control would do that to be honest (I just realized it), but the question remains.
 
The way is to use a cd burning software, burn an ISO to the harddrive of the pc without the burner, go to the harddrive with the burner, then burn that iso onto the drive. since u would already have to put a blank into the burning drive, its not really an inconvenience for you
 
The pro version of StarBurn can do this but it's incredibly expensive ($495). Sometimes they have it as freebie at giveawayoftheday.com.
