I haven't upgraded in a good 4 years or so, so i figured now's a decent time. this is for a gaming/htpc machine, but i wont be buying a vid card until q3 or q4. hopefully i can get this thing to 3.2 or higher. When the next price drops come, im planning on getting a q6600, but the IB9 doesn't seem to support quad cores (at least not according to newegg). My other option is the p5b, but it only has 1 ide controller and i have 4 HDD in this pc that i want to carry over. lastly im not sure if my current psu is up to par. i have a antec 480w psu that ill be using, but ill get something more robust in the coming months.

so any suggestions is appreciated.
