Overall, nice clean layout. Not really anything to advise on. A few things you could play with maybe are:

1) Maybe play with a different color than the medium blue for the menu links, titles, links. Maybe a deep red to maroon color. But maybe that is just me. I guess the blue looks a bit out of place among the tan/red/blacks on the site.

2) Other than that, just some work on skinning the forum to use a similar layout design (shadows to the left/right, same logo) as the rest of the site.

BTW, what cms system are you using on that, or did you write it yourself? Looking at the code and everything it makes me think of a cms system, but I haven't been able to guess at which one.

Thanks for the replies. i have tried changing the link colors but so far none have appealed to me too much.

As for the CMS, its a heavily modified textpattern.

Thread rape: how's textpattern working for you? i'm looking at either textpattern or wordpress, not sure. why did you go with TP

Great! It's not as easy as wordpress from experience but it is much more powerful through the use of sections/categories/forms and its overall function is makes more sense, to me at least.

Hey again, I'm looking for some help on getting the links bar to work in opera/safari. I have tried multiple different things, but each one that kept it horizontal also changed its appearance somehow.

If anyone knows the solution, I would be very grateful!
