I e-mailed him about something like a month ago and got no reply.

Me thinks the site and manufacturer = gone.

Sean was only doing this on the side for fun. When I was at his place last summer, we talked about a whole bunch of stuff, and he mentioned that he was getting bored and wanted to wind down the business.

His real job is one where he's not always in town, and could be gone for a while. I'll try and dig up his personal email addy and give him a shout. I never got an answer from his criticool.com account when I emailed it a few months ago.

He's not intentionally ignoring you guys, believe me.

hmm..

a while back.. (mid 2004) this guy screwed me over bad.. I lost appx 400 dollars worth of gear because he up and disapeared and never responded to my phone calls or emails..

I bought a Waterplant reservoir and a Silverprop block from Criticool in May of last year. Both arrived and there were no issues. I did buy them through eBay though, but that sucks regardless.

Have you done anything to try and recover your money?

EDIT* I just went to eBay and checked my feedback profile, and sure enough, Criticool is alive and trading, their last sale was made on the 8th of this month.

That really sux.

I had bought a res from him a while back and had problems with it and he shipped me a new one at no charge.

From then I thought that it was a good place to get stuff. But since I've tried contacting him and no replys I have given up and went and bought my items elsewhere.

He just lost a valuable customer.
