My friend deleted the partition on a removable storage drive. I think she needed this stuff for her personal work. I think she stopped the carnage there and did not attempt to repartition or format the drive.

Is there anything that can be done? I don't think we can do anything. How much are data retrieval companies? I know they can be damn pricey.
 
Ontrack has software that should be able to recover it if it hasn't written over yet.
