Hi Guys,

I'm currently building a new gaming rig and I'm putting in a Creative X Fi Fatality sound card http://www.soundblaster.com/products/product.asp?category=1&subcategory=208&product=16559 I'm trying to keep all cables in the case neat and tidy and to a minimum.

I'm using UV reactive sata cables and spiral wrap with black lights to try keep it looking trick inside the case.

My question is this: The creative card has an 5.25" drive bay which connects to the PCI card via what looks to be a flat IDE ribbon cable which looks very ugly I can source some round UV reactive IDE cables from an online store which will look alot better and allow me to route the cable neatly But I'm not sure if its going to work just wondering if any one has tried something like this and did it work??

Cheers,

Luke
