I like the built-in audio that the Asus R5E has, but since I had a X-Fi Ti card in my last build (I would use it again, but it doesn't seem to work well with Windows 10), I do miss a few key features:
-upmixing of non-5.1/stereo content so my 5.1 system plays those sources out of all speakers.
-an EQ! What, no equalizer even in the R5E? What a crock. Am I overlooking something?
-some other sound features like expanding the soundstage, effects, etc.
So I was ordering a Sound Blaster Z for $89, but for $30, is this all I need to bring back all those features by just using my existing on-board audio? Any feedback on this MB3 software package is appreciated. Thanks!
