Is this a good card? I am not looking for something that costs alot of money. I am just looking for something to replace the card I had to take out of my Gateway that my family got like 4 years ago. Which is a Creative Sound Blaster PCI Audio card or something like that.
 
It's a great card, I installed it to replace my nforce soundstorm and I noticed a much clearer sound. The card works fine with all the games I play and I finally was able to check the EAX3 box in my games. The best part is that the Value has the colored plugs while the ZS has gold. I hate having to figure out which plug I need with a magnifying glass and a flashlight at my lan parties so the color coding is very welcome.
 
The gold plated plugs do suck... I prefer color coding as well.

It's a decent card for gaming and typical computer speakers. Regarding quality, It'll beat the snot out of the Sound Blasters of yore, not that that's all that difficult.
 
The Value does not have dolby decoding and optical out. the ZS with the gold connectors does.
