After having this sound card for a long time, I have finally got around to using it as my audio center. Typically what I have been doing it putting the speakers in the windows of my house and having music outside. The problem is that I can't change songs or whatnot unless I come inside, which is where the remote comes into play.

I have everything plugged in correctly (I think), and when I installed the software, I made sure I clicked on the Ex version. When I try to open up the remote center, I get this error: "unable to detect any Creative remote control receiver. Please check to see that it is installed properly." Everything is, as far as I know. I just double checked to make sure everything was plugged in, including the plugs from the "add-on" card to the actual sound card itself.
