I just saw it on the front page and man... I wonder how the quality on that is. I wonder if it compares to the M-Audio PCMCIA cards i've heard people talk about. I bet it's better than the USB 2.0 Audigy 2 NX which up to now was the best offering for the Notebook market.

If anyone gets a chance to try this new piece of hardware out i'd love to hear your thoughs on it.

I might want to get something like that... my T41p's audio is something to write home about - for the wrong reasons. Being a business laptop and a thin 'n light at that, I expected horrible audio, but having the ability to have something better when I set it down somewhere would be great. :)
 
I think it's cardbus, actually...

I've been very happy with my onboard sound for when I'm on headphones, and then I've got a SB Extigy setup on my desk for when I'm at home.

The usb audigy 2 nx is FAR from the best offering for the notebook market.
