Creative Media Source Player in Vista

In XP I loved using the Creative Media Source program to record "what you hear". It seems in Vista or maybe just the newest version period that they took out that option. Does anyone know what happened to this feature and if I can get it to work in Vista? If not then can someone recommend a program to record what you hear from your speakers with good audio quality?
