I have the S700 5.1 system and I absolutely love them. I use to be a die hard Klipsch fan but after my 5.1 PM Ultras died after just 3 months usage, I decided no more and went for the Creative S700 GigaWorks system instead.
boy was I imediately impressed from the moment that I unpacked them. the look and feel of the whole system is nothing short of nice. the sub has the driver pointing downwards which is supposed to be more effective with those deep lows that one's looking for.
but all in all, I'd have to say that my S700 system sounds just as good, if not better than my Klispch Ultras did and so far I havent had one single issue with them. that being that, I'd highly recommend them.
I was wondering about these speakers as well. The 5.1 system has caught my eye recently, so any additional information people can give would be welcome.
Wow, and cheaper than the Klipsch's too; kinda figured they'd be more expensive being a bid newer. Again, I have 2.1's on my desk, need no more for good personal music listening. Headset + ZS == Surround Gaming :-p
looks mush bigger then my megaworks 650 sub (wich just died )and i thought that was loud.... anyone know how well the 'upmixing works on the 7.1s (6.1 soundcard)
