creating a partition

I am currently in the middle of an xp install. Right now it says I have 238473 MB of unpartitioned space. My question is should I create a partition or just leave the whole thing unpartitioned. Thanks
 
It would be mighty tough to use an unpartitioned drive for anything other than a paperweight ;)

You will need to create at least one.

You won't be going much farther into the install without any partitions. ;)
 
It's mandatory to create at least one partition. Creating more than one will cause your computer to show one hard drive as multiple drives. This can be a really good way to organize things to help keep them in order.
