crazy wierd video problem

i have dual monitors setup on a 4870x2. when i get into windows my primary display only outputs black and white. ill reinstall the driver, it fixes after the screen flickers during the install. after i reboot my pc, the output is back to gray.

anyone experience this. ive tried 8.9 and 8.8 drivers and this is driving me insane...

maybe the refresh rate of your primary monitor is too high, try checking that out

i just switched the card to the 8x pci-e slot and installed the drivers again in there, and it works fine. move it back to 16x and install the drivers and my primary screen is only outputting grey

weird stuff, try updating your mobo bios

its a Gigabyte GA-EP45-DS4P, and i have the latest and greatest, version "F7"
