I bought an Antec SLK3000B and so far I like it theres just one thing ....the cpu duct included does not adequately cover the cpu.I was thinking about sanding the piece down because it telescopes (the duct) and adding some sort of flexible yet rigid ducting from like a hardware store to make it fit completely over the cpu. So I want to see what you guys would do

BTW I have never modded and this is my first from scratch build PC.

Thanks

You don't want the duct comming all the way down to your motherboard, if that's what you were thinking. The duct only needs to come down to the top of your CPU fan. It's there to supply a source of fresh air for the CPU fan, not totaly exclude your CPU from the rest of the inside of your case.

No, I did not want to totally exclude it. The purpose of altering the duct would be to get a better "fit" or better position of the duct over the cpu and fan because as is it is off center.

thanks
