So I just built a computer (see sig) and I keep getting bsods, generally when I try to run a game or do something even slightly system intensive. I have tried updating by bios, installing the latest graphic and chipset drivers, and I'm running XP SP2 with all the updates, and I am still crashing. Now I have no idea what to do. Any suggestions or help would be awesome.
My box is overclocked to 2.2 ghz, but I am almost positive cooling isin't an issue.

Your specs don't seem to be in your sig..at least from what I can tell. The same thing was happening to me, I eventually found out it was bad RAM. Try running memtest, and if it checks out fine but still BSOD's you, try sticking in some old RAM. If that works..bad RAM. The PSU is always my next suspect for random reboots..so if you're sure it's not the RAM, check that out.

Sounds like a bad overclock....tone it down. Is the voltage sufficient?

It's at 1.6 volts. And as of now (26 bsods later) i'm even having a hard time getting windows to install.

What BSOD do you get.
The stop code and all the info that come with a BSOD can help a lot in deciphering why its crashing.
Is it the same one everytime or do they vary ?
What temp is your CPU ?
How close to spec are all your voltages ?

A little more info would help

Luck.......... :D

Sorry for being so vague, this is just really starting to frustrate me. As for temps, the core hardly ever reaches 40c according to the bios, and it hasn't even had a chance to be under load. And the last time i checked, the voltages were very close to spec. I've started taking pictures of the various bsods I achieve, so I'll be posting them or their stop codes soon.

Thanks for helping out guys by the way, I really appreciate it.
