Crappy motherboard?

Well, it is an Asrock H170 Pro4. Worked pretty well until historic Louisiana flood. Was submerged for a week. When the water receded I hung it on the clothes line to dry. Was a little corroded here and there. Cleaned it with some strong stuff. Powered up, it worked. But one SATA port keeps dropping connection. Now, two years later it is still dropping SATA link. Must be a crappy motherboard, right?
