What a beautiful combo :)

I am running Server 2008 R2 64-bit, virtualbox with a 64-bit linux client, and I would like to fold with the linux client. When virtualbox is running with 32 core allocated, virtualbox bubbles around 20% usage. I was kind of expecting to be around 60% to 66% since 2/3 of the core are allocated to the VM. I set the priority of virtualbox to be 'high', but that does not seem to make a difference. Is there anything that can be done to get a little better performance here?

Weird. On my 2p I run Vista x64 vbox and Ubuntu, and get 96% cpu usage now. It use to oly be 85-93%, but no idea why it jumped up.

On my 950 box, i run server 08 and vbox/*nix setup at 100%.

Have you got all the virtualiuzation stuff ticked off in the bios?

Not sure. I am running the release 2 of the [H] OC BIOS, loaded the optimal defaults, and have not looked back. What setting(s) should I check?
