hey, today i got a stick of 256 pc 133 ram. i wantted to install in my system because i still use sd ram. so when i put this stick in, my mobo beats 3 times. and when i take of the stick it doesnt. i got this ram stick from a working computer? wtf why doesnt it work???
 
Could be that the ram stick is incompatible with the ram you already have in there. One may be high density and the other low density. Different voltage requirements, FSB speed, etc. Your computer might not support high density. It really helps if you post your system specs and be specific about the brand of memory we are talking about
