Crackling with Equalizer

Hey all i have the HD555 which i love. and i messing around with the Equalizer in iTunes and when i used the Presets or one i made i got a crackling nosie. and as soon as i disable the EQ it stops. The Same this happens with Foobar.

What is happening?
