Crackling Noise from Speakers?

Im using the Onboard Sound from a Abit IC7 motherboard wth Creative Speakers there is this annoying static noisey from the speakers from time to time randomly anyone know whats causing it. I unplugged some of the satelite(tweeters from teh Creative set) it still makes the noise.

Do you guys think disabling the onboard sound and getting another soundcard would fix it?

sounds like you have a lot of interference aka bleedthrough. a stand alone sound card would work. i'd recomend a santa cruze or audigy (if you want EAX).

computers put out a lot of RF which bleeds to the speakers, i notice this a lot on large amps that are not shielded properly.

can you describe the static more in depth? when does it happen, can you reproduce it? it could just be bad drivers or bad settings somewhere.
 
Figured it out, the staticish noise came from the hard drive i guess it was some kind of interferance, everytime the hard drive started to read/write the speakers created the noise. It was the same exact noises that the hard drive was making but just louder like if it was enhancing the hard drive noises.
