Cracking Mozilla Thunderbird Passwords? (Im an idiot)

Ok...so Im going to be a freshman in college, and the 1st thing I did when I recieved my username/password for my email account was put it into Thunderbird (I dont like web based email). Well that same username/password is needed for me to get to the My"School Name" section of my schools website, which posts important announcements and stuff. Is there anyway I can crack Thunderbird so I can see what the password is that I set for my account? I feel like a complete idiot, I cant believe I didnt remember/write it down someplace. Thanks!
 
tools ---> options ---> privacy ----> view saved passwords ----> show passwords

You can password protect those with a master password. Of course, if you forget the master password, you are boned.
