CPUZ and PC2300 RAM?

Ok, so i ran CPUZ.

I am runnning PC2100 kingston RAM. For some reason it say's that i have PC2300 kingston RAM..

what's the deal?
 
It possible that if you bought it recently that it really is PC3200. BC no one is really making much 2100 anymore, it's more cost effective for them to get the more mass-produced PC3200-rating chips than older PC2100. It's also possible that somewhere along the line (SPD, Mobo, Windows, CPUZ) something lied or told a half-truth. Get a diff program like SiSoft Sandra and see what it says.

He said PC2300, not PC3200.
 
Are you OCing?? Either your computer is detecting the RAM wrong or you have something is your BIOS making it run faster then normal.
 
no need to worry about it
im running pc4000 ram, detects as 3700, but it still runs fine at 250fsb
