Anyone need a Socket A CPU for a folding rig? I got a few that need homes in a Team 33 box....

I've got extra parts for at least one more CPU, maybe two.

(boxes, that is)


 
i'm looking for a socket 478... but if this is a giveaway, i'll take it and build a mod around it. (this will take about 6mo. but will result in good folding as i will then have 2 comps folding! w00t)

All I ask is that you FOLD WITH THESE and actually use them!!! Please keep honor among us. :) I know you guys have that for sure. Just don't let them sit on the shelf....like I have done for so long.

I just upgraded my case, and decided to buy a spare socket A motherboard (look at my WTB thread if you want) just 2 weeks ago or so. I've been looking around for parts for it - so far i have RAM, Video, Heatsink, Hard drive, cd drives, the old case, and soon a power supply. The motherboard can support up to a 2800 barton / 266mhz fsb. That would be awesome of you to donate as close to that max (with 266 fsb). I guarantee that I will fold with it (i have my server, laptop, desktop all folding as much as possible). I'd pay shipping of course.

Oh, and starhawk, it just so happens that i'm getting a socket 478 mobo that a newbie out here tried to use with his celeron D processor (board doesn't support). It's tested and in good condition. Soyo P4X400 Dragon Lite. I won't have any parts to build around it (i don't use intel anyway), i was just gonna keep in in stash for possible future use. I do have to pay him for it, but its reasonably cheap. LMK and i'd be willing to let it go without profit to myself.

(Shameless suck-up ) BTW, get a chip or not... This is why Kyle and the [H] in general are the coolest MoFo's around (/Shameless suck-up) :D
