Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
Hey everyone, my new rig is up and running, finally. I've overclocked the processor to 4.0GHz. This is reflected in my benchmarks. However, CPU-Z shows a clock speed of 2.4GHz. Specs are UNIT-04 in my sig.
are you using prime95 or something similar to bring your clocks back up?
Guess what I'm trying to say is intels version of cool and quiet enabled or disabled?
c1e? is that it?
2.4GHz is 200MHz*12, meaning that Speedstep or C1E is lowering the multiplier of your CPU down to its lowest value to save power while your computer is idle. That is perfectly normal behaviour, and as soon as your CPU is loaded again, its speed will jump back up to 4GHz before you'll even know it.
