So I have read about OC'ing your system and using the CPU voltage for that, but just wondering on whats everyone's take on the CPU voltage if someone is going to just run the system at stock?

Should one just set the BIOS to just "auto" or would it be better to set the CPU voltage so there are no fluctuations?

Just wondering about how the motherboard and CPU has to handle all the fluctuations or is it better for any board and CPU to have the voltage just set?

What is a good CPU voltage to set for stock (if this is the way to go)? Core I7's and I5's

If you're running stock speeds then just leave the CPU vcore setting to 'auto'. The auto setting will use the CPU's VID (voltage identification) signal to set the correct vcore for that particular chip.

Leave it at stock/auto. Those "fluctuations" are there for a reason, it isnt just random crap you know....
