Hi I am running my E8400@3.6ghz 1.27 V my question is ,is 1.27v to high for the E8400 or it should be fine? btw I am running a 780i

Start to worry when you get much closer to 1.5v +

If you dig around on Intel's web site, you should be able to find the specs on your processor including the max recommended voltage.
