ok, so I took a look at my temps and voltages for my e6550 and I see that no matter how much I overclock (by that I mean an overclock with stability) I get the seame temps. Then I did a little look and see found out that the min CPU VID for mine is 1.875 and the max is 1.35. Any ways I looked at my bios and the default for me is 1.35. So my question is is the cpu vid different for every batch or cpu within the same product like another e6550 can be 1.875, or 1.2. Or is it my motherboard?
 
Your minimum there is above your maximum?

But, yes, the VID is different for each chip, based on the voltage it needed during testing after it was manufactured. I'm not sure how it's connected to the first sentence of your post though? Make sure you're using a program like CoreTemp or RealTemp to see the core temperatures, and load up the CPU with a program like Prime95 to see load temps (idle temps are dependent more on the ambient temperature, and aren't that reliable anyway).
