MY CPU Usage goes to 80-100% if I open up any type of game. I've tested this on Wolfenstien ET, Lineage 2 and Asheron's call.

Without any games running its at a 2% with wim amp, 3 IE browsers, and aim running. It doesnt lag my computer but it wont let me use more then 1 gamming clien at once. If I have the game up on the screen its at 70-100% cpu usage, if i alt tab or click on something else it goes back down to 2-15%.
I have:

3200+ AMD Procc
200GB maxtor HD
KT6V MSI mother board
5.1 Santa Cruz sound card
9800 Sapphire Pro
512mb memory
Windows Pro

I had figured it had to do something with my drivers. So I uninstalled the games, reinstalled drivers pefercectly (twice in fact), nothing. No idea what this could be, posted another topic similar to this before I knew that my CPU usage was causing this. Problem still remains.

Yeah all games are greatly cpu intensive, even running quake 1 on my current opteron system maxes out a processor at 100 percent. You want a game to get all the power it can get.

yeah i think every game will give you a 100% cpu load, dont worry about it, itll boost fps

Ac is a good 5-6 year old game, I've never had AC or another game hit 100% normally. Almost every one that plays AC can run 2-4 clients on their computer.
What im tryin to say is, I didnt have this problem on my old computer, and it was a older one.

also, aim is a 14k mem usage program, a game like asheron's call is about 45k. Its not that big =/
