raksasas said:ddr 1 - 266, and 2 - 400's all fail the test 7. Tested all the sticks by them selfs. And the motherboard has been replace because it is what i thought was the problem. But now i think it may have been the processor. The system is about a month or less old
FanATIc said:you understand that the DDR400 drops itself down to the slowest speed ram in the system. Being 266 your taking a performance hit. Highly suggest you yank and junk the older ram and leave the DDR400 in dual mode (slot 1 and slot 3); most likey whats causing the failure in memtest too.
