CPU temperature?

I just built a new computer and I know the heatsink is attached properly, Anyways, I get around 67C when gaming on all ultra graphics, 34 when idle, also it's winter. Are these temperatures normal? OR should I invest in better cooling?

It really depends on what CPU you have running. While it might be winter, what are the temperatures like in your room? Seeing as how your idle temperatures might be reasonable, a small investment in better case ventilation might net you better results.

Idle temperature seems fine, but your load temperature is a tad high. If you room is significantly warmer during non-winter months, you might want to make a minor investment in cooler. Your call though; as it stands, 67C isn't dangerous.

Personally, I would be uncomfortable if I was registering at or above 70C for extended usage. I believe TCase is >72C for your processor, so 67C isn't too bad, but you have to take into consideration that the cooling might be less effective down the road when your room gets warmer (or the computer gets dustier).

Only a wizard would know. If you are asking what a typical range is for your CPU on stock cooling, I'm pretty sure that your load temps are either within it, or not far off from it. If you really are that worried, I suggest you make the investment now for a piece of mine; otherwise, keep an eye on the temperature when your room starts warming up.

Well yeah I live in florida and its been 70 degrees all winter pretty much, about 85-90 most of the summer, my AC freezes everyday and is almost what I would call "Broke" prolly just gonna buy a portable AC for my window when summer comes if my temperature raises.

I wouldnt worry about 67, it is fine. I would recommend a CM 212 if you want to bring the temps down.
I think the thermal shutoff for the cpu is like 95 or higher? No need to worry about 67.

One of the causes of an A/C freezing up could be low on freon, blocked/dirty filter, or dirty evap coil. You can also check the outside coils to make sure they are clean.

TCase is not the same as TJmax, which you are refrring to. Sandy Bridge has a TJmax of 98*C where it will begin to throttle. Any temperature up to that is fine for 24/7 use, regardless of your personal feelings about it (which is really hard to let go of, I get the same way). 67*C is fine.

It means the cpu will lower the speed on itself in order to not go POOF!
So when it reaches a certain temp, it will throttle back to save itself.

When did I make reference to TJmax? If a processor is running 24/7 while registering 97C from the diode, I doubt that it would be fine.
