CPU Temp went up with more fans?

I just added a new case fan for intake in the front, and switched my window fan as exaust. Now my tempature has gone up from 105*F to 109*F. I know its not a bad temp, but it sorta bothers me. Should i change my window fan to intake too? The only problem i have with that is the dust factor.

You screwed up your airflow.

Instead of your window fan blowing air on your cpu, now it is sucking all the air your intake fan is blowing in and exausting it before it even gets to the CPU.

I would suggest using the window fan as an intake fan also, deal with the dust. You might make you a blowhole or something ontop or the upper rear.

Does your case not have any rear exaust fan locations?

Blowhole: An hole (usually containing a fan, but not always) that allows for a faster exausting of hot air, usually located on the top part of the case.

So you have 4 fans?

The two in back are exaust correct?

I imagine the problem lies in the fact that when you changed the window fans airflow direction, you changed the airflow of the entire case. My advice, sucky as it is, play with the fans until you find the situation best suited for your case, thats what I had to do with mine.

yep, switched the window fan back to intake, how im at 104*, 1* cooler than i was before i put the new fan in! yay

technically, if you have more airflow coming in you SHOULD see less dust problems. If you have more air going out than coming it the pressure will try equalizing, probably sucking in free standing dust more easily than sucking in moving air.
