I'm thinking about doing a trade for my Q8200 for a E6600 + some other things; however, wanted to know if it'll work out right. Both are LGA 775 but FSB on the E6600 is 1066MHz will this cause any problems in my desktop? My desktop is a gateway LX6810 .. gateway mobo with 8GB DDR2 800

The Q8200 is a newer CPU than the E6600, so if your motherboard supports it, you should be good to go with the E6600.

I'd personally keep the Q8200, although this trade probably already took place.
