Hello,

Can someone please view the below CPU Speed and let me know if something is configured incorrectly?

General Information :
Real Frequency : 598.5 MHz
Multiplier : 6x
Low/High Multiplier : 6x / 15x
Multiplier Locked : Yes
Marketing Frequency : 1500 MHz

my guess is either p-m or p4-m with 400MHz FSB and the power saving features of the cpu is taking command, perhaps there are bios options to disable it or disable it from windows power management...
 
Yeah the number work out for it to be mobile chip. Switch the power scheme to always plugged in and see what happens or look in the bios it should show full speed there.
