Im having a bit of trouble getting my CPU to run at the correct Speed.

Its a:

+AthlonXP 1500+ i belive Operating Frequency: 1.33GHz
+Asus A7M266 mobo
+SBLive Full
+LinkSys LNE100TX
+Ati Radeon 9600XT 256MB (although was happening on my old Geforce4 card also)
+Kingston PC2700 512DDR Dimm
+PNY PC2100 256DDR Dimm
+Maxtor 40GB HDD
+Windows 2KPro SP4

Right now i can only get it to run at 1000Mhz (10x100mhz in BIOS) If i change it to the 1333mhz settings (10X133mhz) the comptuer will start to boot up into windows then it will freezeup and does nothing on the starting windows screen. If i change it back to the 1000mhz setting works perfect.

Anyone have Ideas i can try to fix this? If you need anymore info let me know ill try to get ti for you also.

Thank you in Advance!

Only thing i can think of myself i havent tried is a BIOS update. Im at work so cant check what version i have right now.

Anything else besides that?

Could be a mem problem. Some boards do dumb-ass things if you have mismatched memory. Maybe check your memory speed settings. Make sure it's set for 133 (266DDR) and maybe try forcing conservative timings. Who knows, maybe it's reading the PC2700 and trying to run at really tight timings, thus making the PC2100 puke at 133fsb. You might also try swapping the sticks in the slots or try one at a time.
