1. Programming. Some nodejs and C. Light browsing. I likely be sshed into this box.
2. $1000
3. Chicago, IL.
4. CPU, Mobo, and ram. Motherboard and ram I have mostly figured out. I
5. I have an antec 650watt psu; Radeon 6950, and a few ssd drives.
6. Mildly.
7. I have two 24" Dell ips, and an apple display.
8. Soonish.
9. Single PCI express is fine. A few sata connections.
10. I am planning on using Debian or FreeBSD.

I would like to build a PC that I will use for programming. I will be developing in NodeJS, C, and Python/Ruby. I primarily use Vim to develop in.

I will be sshed into the box from my MacBook or I'll log directly into the box.

I have looked at CPU prices at Micro center. I am looking at the Kaby lake unlocked i3, i5, and i7; also the Sky lake Xeons. My budget can go up to 1000. Frankly, I am not sure it is worth getting the i7.
