cpu not 100% with prime 95

i just downloaded prime 95 to stress my cpu and its never 100%
wtf

I'm pretty sure it is because of the hyperthreading, in order to use 100% with HT on you need to run 2 instances of Prime95, someone correct me if I'm wrong.
 
I ran prime with a 3.0 HT and had the same results, it's because HT is enabled.
 
HT makes sense to me. thats really cool to actually see HT at work. i never actually believed it worked until now.
 
how does hyperthreading make a difference? ( please excuse my ignorance )
