My current conifguration:
Asus P5E-WS Professional
Q6600-G0@2.8GHz
Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro
2 x 2GB OCZ Vista Performance Platinum Edition
eVGA 8800GTS-512MG
All SATA stroage devices
P182 with one additional fan, all 4 fans set to low

At idle, the core temps are 38-40C at idle and at full load (Prime95) are 58-60C. The noise level is very good at both idle and load.

I have a chance now to replace the Freezer Pro 7 with a Zalman CNPS9700-LED for only $35.

Will I see improvement in term of temperatures? Will the noise level be increased?

Will my temperatures be improved significantly if we replace the Freezer Pro 7 to a Zalman-9700?
 
I do not know for a fact, but i have been reading many many reviews over the last few weeks. I was going to get a new HSF myself. Form what i can remember the Zalman will outperform the Freezer 7 by a bit, I don't know if you will see drastic improvements, but i would think you would see some improvement.;)
