TL,DR I lost my sig rig in a watercool failure. Looking for a replacement till ivy-e comes out.
i7 2700k or 3770k?? Looking for best oc chip.
 
Did the rig in your sig get destroyed? Honestly I would pick up another x79 mobo in hopes your cpu survived. Or donate it my way I will give a shot.

Not to mention trying to dry out the other parts in your sig.

Heck...since it seems to have been a Corsair H100 failure...call Corsair, their Hydro series warranty is crazy good.
 
My local Micro C has I7-3770K (retail) for $249, doesn't even list a 2770K.

At that price try it and see.
