Hi all,

I'm looking to upgrade to the new i5 750 and I want to overclock. I'm looking for a good heatsink, but I'm lost as to what is compatible. Mobo is a Gigabyte P55M UD2.

Everything I'm reading is related to socket 1366 or 755.

Can anyone enlighten me? Is the socket so new that there aren't any compatible heatsinks?

Budget is $75.

How is the performance of the Noctua NH-12p SE2? I bought a "Freezer 7" which was all that was available at build time, and now I'm eyeing up the Noctua. I have managed to run the freezer7 only up to about 3.2ghz under load on the i5 @ 2.66, but I'm seeing folks with much better results (3.8+).

What core temp is safe at full load (crunching prime say), and what are people getting similar chips up to with this cooler?

thx
