CPU gets hotter while on Screensaver

So I am not quite understanding why, but whenever my computer sits idle for awhile and goes to the screensaver its temp rises to ~70C, When I am gaming or anything else on it generally sits around 50-55 at the highest 60. I know this is still hot, but at the current place I am living my computer sits in a cubby where all the heat sits. I am working a better solution.

Specs:
CPU: 2.4C overclocked to 2.89
CPU Fan: XP-120 w/ Nexus Fan
in a Lian-Li 60 Case - 2X80 Vantec Stealths up front, 1 7v modded Vantec Stealth in the rear

I am probably going to un mod the fan in the rear while it is in this setup that is not prime for cooling, but are there any other ideas?
 
Some screensaves use the CPU to draw them. For example, a lot of those crazy windows default ones that bounce polygons all over your screen will use the CPU in order to calculate and draw them.
