Hi,
I'm in the process of building a pc for the closet, it will be housed in an Antec P150 and will have a few 500 gig hard drives.
OS is planned to be Windows Server (HOME) when it is available and it will have 2 gigs of Kingston DDR2 667Mhz (got it already cos it was cheap)
Motherboard will be the Intel DG965WH (currently in my HTPC but will be shifted over to the server)
Jobs will include backup service for my other machines, storing and sending HD movies to my HTPC and other machines, storing photos and MP3's and FTP duties.
Would the Intel E2180 be a bit weak for these purposes? The max amount of clients would be 5 at the very very most (if ever)
I currently have an E6400 in my HTPC, maybe another one of those?
