looking for a nice cpu fan. im trying to save money on this fan but im willing to pay a pretty high price for one. i was gonna get the cooler master hyper 212 evo, but i disvovered that its a sleeve fan and i dont want a sleeve fan because i want it to last. also it needs to fit in an nzxt switch 810 case with an asrock z68 extreme 4 mobo, and over two sticks of g.skill ripjaws x series 8gb ram. also as long as its no mor than 36 db i dont care how loud it is. i also dont like noctuas fan colors.

I am also in the market for a cpu fan. I was going to get the h100 but I believe they are too unreliable.
I was going to go for the EVO too but decided to pick up the TT Frio instead. I have read that the EVO is one of if not the best heatsinks price/performance. The fan, I read should be replaced with the fan on the original 212. Which is this

hyper 212+ is the best bang for the buck, just grab the original one, not the EVO. if you look around you can find it for under 30 bucks. its worth every penny. currently have one on my roommates athlon II x4 @ 4.1Ghz 1.53v sitting at 23C idle 32C full load(yes its cold as heck in my house because gas is expensive during the winter).

It's a HS (heatsink) not a fan. Also, sleeve bearing does not mean it will not last and most coolers come with sleeve bearing fans unless you get into the nicer Noctua/Thermalright etc. With that said, I have sleeve bearing fans last longer than many computers, often times moving to a new build/case before I had any problems with them.
