CPU fan speed

[Fistandantilis]

is there a way to turn up thespeed on my CPU fan? I have an AMD 3500+ on a asus A8NX5 mobo, currantly it is at 3515 rpm's. is it a bad thing to run it at full speed or close to full speed?

thanks
