Ok so i'm gonna run a 3.0 P4, would using a Spark 7+ CPU heatsink and fan be too much.. i don't plan to overclock. this is for someone that is however going to load the CPU pretty good.

Or are there other fans that would be just as good, and perhaps cheaper?

Thanks

If you are staying at stock speed, then just stick with the retail heatsink.

I agree with MontyAC. The stock HSF I got with my 3.0C was fairly good at it's job. Copper core with a lot of aluminum fins. Not too noisy either. In fact, it was about 10c-15c above the temp of my Vantec Aeroflow (which performs surprisingly well for a mid $20's cooler).
